November has been a cold and wet month but that wasn’t enough to stop Shaun of Oozy Baits and Roy doing a 6 day stint in the bivvy.
Roy only took one fish for the session but he was very pleased with a massive 51lb 5oz common and he got the t shirt to prove it!
Shaun struggled on this session managing to lose more than he landed I think his clothes got wetter than his unhooking mat but being a noddy and a passionate tench angler this was no surprise. Maybe you should spend some time on the bank with Roy and Garry ( biggun ) see if you can pick up a few tips for next time mate!!

A slow month for anglers only 4 in the first two weeks. 58 fish on the bank for this month with the biggest being 47lb 2oz mirror and three commons over 40lb
26 of these fish were also over 30lb.
The carp have still got there heads down and are feeding well I am certainly looking forward to doing some winter fishing myself.

What a great month this was lovely weather and fantastic fishing all round.
It started with two anglers from Surrey taking a massive 72 fish for the week with two commons of 51lb 10oz and 52lb 4oz.
There were also four 40s to 48lb and 37 fish over 30lb.
September continued to fish well totalling 311 fish for the month.
A big well done to Joe Green who caught a new pb common of 51lb 10oz what a fish.

Due to the extremely hot weather the lake fished a little harder than normal.
The month saw a total of 166 fish most of which came through the night and the early hours.
There were 92 carp over 30lb and 8 different 40s two mirrors to 49lb 1oz and 6 commons to 46lb 8oz.
And not to forget the biggest of the month being a common of 52lb 6oz.
