Rules

The fishery is intended to be a friendly and safe environment. We expect your full cooperation with the following rules :-

  1. Max. 3 rods per angler at any time. No unattended rods.
  2. Min 15lb line – no braided mainlines. No bent hooks. Micro barbed hooks only. No fixed rigs of any kind. No lead core or other types of leader.
  3. Injured fish to be treated with Klinix or similar. All fish to be treated with care and returned to lake ASAP.
  4. Minimum 42” landing nets which must be dipped on site. Unhooking mats and weigh slings are supplied do not bring your own.
  5. Under no circumstances will sacking of fish be allowed.
  6. Bait boats can be used with due consideration to other anglers.
  7. No maize, hemp (unless supplied by us). No nuts of any kind.
  8. No BBQs or fires. Gas or petrol stoves are OK if used with care.
  9. All rubbish to be bagged including *cigarette ends* & *bottle tops*
  10. On site toilets must be used.
  11. Excess rowdy or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Fishing closes at 10am Saturday and starts again at 1pm on a Saturday.

Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. Deposits: A deposit of £80 per person (non exclusive use) or £800 per group (exclusive use)  plus £100 for accomodation if required should be sent with the booking reference to the address shown below. Cheques to be made payable to W. Everitt.
  2. Balance of Payment: The balance of payment due to us must be paid in full at least eight weeks before commencement of the holiday date. If the balance is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and charge a cancellation fee in accordance with paragraph 3.
  3. Cancellation Charges: If you cancel your holiday you may be liable to a cancellation fee as follows :- (i) Up to 8 weeks or more before travel date – forfeiture of deposit. (ii) Between 4 and 8 weeks before travel date – forfeiture of 50% of total booking fee. (iii) Less than 4 weeks before travel date – forfeiture of total booking fee.
  4. Reservation: Your holiday will be reserved upon receipt of your Lac D’Arcy booking form with booking reference and deposit. A receipt will be issued to you for the deposit paid and details of the balance and date due will also be provided.
  5. Non Fishing Guest Privilege: We offer the opportunity for an angler to bring a non fishing guest to accompany the angler, with a small charge of £30 for this privilege. If a non fishing guest breaks the no fishing rule, we reserve the right to terminate the angler and guests stay at our fishery immediately and in accordance with paragraph 9 of these terms and conditions.
  6. Complaints: In the event that any of our holiday makers have a complaint regarding their stay at Lac D’Arcy, this should be referred to either Mark Wilkins (on site) or to any on site bailiff or in writing to W. Everitt (address as below).
  7. Passports: We strongly advise holiday makers to ensure that they hold a valid ten year passport.
  8. Force Majeure: We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations due to fire, storm, flood, weather, acts of God, riots, political unrest, industrial disputes, war or any other event beyond our control.
  9. We Reserve the right to immediately terminate the services we are contractually obliged to provide to you, if we, our employees or agents or any other person appointed under our authority, judge your behaviour to be likely to cause discomfort or harm to our other clients, or to any person or property. In this situation we will not accept any liability to pay you a refund or provide compensation or damages which you may incur.
